This elegant set of Brussels tapestries were designed by Jan van Orley, the most famous tapestry artists of the day. They were made circa 1700-20, based on paintings by Francesco Albani, they depict the classic myth of love, lust and rejection between a god and a mortal.

PRODUCT INFORMATION

Tapestry Wall Hangings are lined, interlined and weighted; they have a Velcro strip sewn along the top back edge and are supplied with a wooden batten, also fitted with Velcro strip, to attach to the wall (see image below).

All our Tapestry Wall Hangings are printed to order, with a lead time of 8 weeks.

Printed Linen Panels are supplied with a 2cm Mirror Bleed along each edge (see image below); this is not intended to be part of the finished design and should be turned back and hemmed.
